Thanks to working with our new printing partner we were able to integrate more and better illustrations into both parts and we think this new edition will help our students even more to succeed in our course and in related courses in their chosen majors. Apart from new and more color illustrations we decided to restructure both parts to align them better with the course setup that now includes blended courses as well as flipped classroom sections. Because of that both parts now have 31 chapters. This will help students to get a better feeling for which topics they still struggle with and which ones they have mastered already. The activities in Part 2 Lab Workbook were revised and updated as well. Some of them were changed and others replaced by activities that we think will help improve the learning environment.
